With this workshop we get started in the world of colored earths for their application
textile, using ancestral methods originating in Japan and circular.
We will look for the colors of the earth in our environment, which can return to its origin when
are no longer needed, without altering our habitat or damaging the harmony of nature.
Program
• Origin of the first pigments used in cave paintings.
• Textile application using ancient Japanese techniques.
• Extraction of pigments by decanting clay soil.
• Preparation of a color palette from minerals in our environment.
• Preparation of paint and mordant for fabric with natural ingredients.
• Application of paint on textiles and creation of prints.
• Finishing and final drying and washing tips.
