Aletheia is a clothing brand made in Spain by hand, using only natural dyes.
Each and every garment is dyed with plants, mordants and natural materials without using toxic chemicals.
The process is 100% handmade and responds to a circular economy in which textile waste is not generated. All the excess fabric is recycled to make unique finishes and other exclusive objects.
The initiative is led by Gavina Ligas, known for her designs for Sybilla for 20 years, and her team.

We want to share our love for beautiful things while we act to counteract the processes of pollution, exploitation and warming that our planet suffers. We want to be a conscious business activity that aspires to change the world we live in and contributes to our sustainability and advancement as human beings.
Aletheia (ἀλήθεια) is a Greek word that means “truth”, and it talks about revealing the true essence of things through a process of search.
Inspired by this concept, a small group of designers and artisans decided to investigate the infinite spectrum of colors found in plants. And so, after five years of experimenting with different materials and perfecting the meticulous process of dyeing with natural materials, Aletheia was born.
The pillars on which Aletheia stands are as simple as they are solid.
We believe that it is not people who should adapt to clothing, but garments that adapt to the particular climate or preferences of each person.
From the beginning we were clear that Aletheia would not be a traditional clothing brand and that it would not fit the usual mold of seasonal collections.
Hot or cold, from light silks to wools or blends of both, our garments respond to timeless patterns that remain, with small variations, season after season.
We believe that fashion should liberate and beautify, not enslave.
That is why we choose the path of creative freedom in our work, we strive to accept our own imperfections and those of others, and we celebrate the diversity of the world and nature around us.
