This cape is part of the Aletheia Mottainai collection. “Mottainai” is a Japanese word meaning regret for waste, so we use textile waste from other designers to create unique, exclusive, and sustainable pieces. At Aletheia, we believe that nothing is waste; everything can be reinvented.
Mottanai is an ancient Japanese concept meaning “sorrow for waste,” and it’s the name we use for the very limited edition garments we make from scraps of fabric we source from prestigious designers. This is a sustainable option because it’s made from recycled silk, so not only will you look beautiful, but you’ll also be helping to make a positive impact on the planet.

Production time is 3 weeks + 3-5 business days shipping. If it is in stock, shipments are normally made within 48 hours of placing the order and it will arrive to you sooner.
Shipping costs vary depending on the destination country. Shipping costs are calculated automatically and are reflected on the payment page. We remind you that any customs duties or taxes of the country shall be borne by the customer.
In the event of a return, shipping costs will not be refunded. If for any reason upon receiving your order you are not completely satisfied with it, you have 15 calendar days from the date of receipt to return it.
Returned items must be in their original, unused condition, with all product labels and all accessories included.
